Robotic Hand

The idea of creating a robotic arm has always fascinated me. In 6th grade, I created a very simple arm for the science fair and won second place. Ever since then, I have been improving on my design both in the areas of complexity, and materials used. My first iteration used foam board and a single servo motor. Fast forward to the present, and I am using a 3D printer to create the arm. I have designed a fully articulated hand, and I plan on using over 12 motors.

My next step is to control this with my own arm by creating a glove and sleeve that track my movements and have the robot mimic them.
